Description

Advertisement for Atarax (hydroxyzine HCI), a medication manufactured by Roerig to reduce anxiety. The ad appeared in the journal Medical Economics on January 13, 1964. The ad recommends Atarax for the relief of anxiety in a family member and the resulting emotional distress of others in the family, which the ad refers to as "'communicable anxiety.'"
