Description

Parke Davis collectible ink blotter from the 1940s advertising Thrombin Topical. The advertisement states that the product can be used to "control capillary bleeding [and] for rapid fixation of skin grafts." It is supplied in packages containing one ampoule of 5000-Iowa-unit Thrombin Topical and one 5-cc ampoule of dilutent. There is an illustration of a surgeon with scrubs and a face mask. The date 3/45 is written in the top right. The Parke Davis identifier is bl-111-2.
