Description

Parke Davis collectible ink blotter from the 1940s advertising Takazyme. The advertisement states that Takazyme causes "prompt reduction of gastric acidity, rapid liquefication of starchy foods, [and] soothing effect on gastric mucosa." It is indicated for treatment of gastric hyperacidity. The product is supplied in 1, 2, and 5 oz and 1 lb tins. An ingredients list is provided. Dosage is given. There are illustrations of bread and potatoes. The word "dose" is written in the top right, and there are some small scattered pencil marks. The Parke Davis identifier is bl-55-4.
