Description

Parke Davis collectible ink blotter from the 1940s advertising Taka-Diastase. The advertisement states that Taka-Diastase is indicated in "inadequate starch digestion" and that it "liquefies 600 times its own weight of starch in 20 minutes." Three different recipes are listed, one for sedative and digestant, one for nervous indigestion, and one for digestant and peristaltic stimulant. The Parke Davis identifier is bl-48-3.
