Description

Parke Davis collectible ink blotter from the 1940s advertising Phemerol, Topical. This is a germicide, which the advertisement notes is ideal for first aid care, as a general antiseptic, and in treatment of skin infections. Two images, one of a drop of Tr. Iodine, and the other a drop of Phemerol, Topical, 30 seconds after application to the skin, are provided for comparison. It is supplied in 1 ounce, 1 pint, and 1 gallon bottles. The blotter has the date Apr 5 1944 stamped on it. The Parke-Davis identifier is bl 95-2.
