Description

Parke Davis collectible ink blotter from the 1940s advertising Kapseals, hermetically sealed gelatin capsules. Various types of Kapseals are listed: Combex, Combex with vitamin C, Desicol, Digifortis, Dilantin Sodium, Ferro-Desicol, Naferon, Ortal sodium with phenacetin, Synkamin, Theelol, and Ventrex with iron and vitamin B. It is noted that the seal tends to protect the contents from the effects of oxidation. The blotter has the date 7-41 written on it. The Parke-Davis identifier is bl-78.
